Well,
Things are still chuggin' along here. Disney World- once again-was amazing! I always think that my "thirst" for Disney will be quenched- but EVERY time I go there I can't wait to get back. It's weird actually. There is nowhere else in the world that does that to me!
Hmmm...what else...OH! I'm down 88 lbs! Yep....I'm not doing it in a healthy way-but I gotta believe that losing almost 90lbs should help a little!
So...not much more to report. Big show coming up Sunday in Michigan when we open for Thor Ramsey. I think that will be a blast! My hypnosis tapes have helped- I was struck with a bout of stage fright for a bit- but now...LET ME AT 'EM!

Wow...the last few weeks have been absolutely amazing. I had a chance to investigate Historic Fort Mifflin with the TAPS team, investigated one of the coolest locations EVER with my MPI team, and met the Jonas Brothers before their show at DTE Energy Theater. (Not to mention spending a few days at Independence Hall and visiting the Liberty Bell once again.) As I'm sitting here I am looking at the Disney World countdown calendar and it says: 3 DAYS!...
SOMEBODY PINCH ME!

I thank GOD for my life- and I thank all of you, my faithful readers, for being part of it.

I am so sorry that I have been neglecting my journal. So many things are going on right now!! We just finished a great comedy road tour, and now are taking some time to BREATHE! I would like to take a moment to say thanks to our recent audience members. Your laughter and applause was amazing. I really think I'm starting to get the hang of this comedy thing.
We are heading back to Disney next month....but first....Philadelphia with the SyFy guys, and Ste.Saint Marie with the MPI team.

OH... I can't wait to see the castle again. It's my favorite place on EARTH!
I'm sure Dave Ramsey would kick my butt for taking a break from "the plan", but after we get back, we will finish with Gazelle Intensity.We are SOOOO close!!
My Gazelle is walking with a limp!hehehehe BUT...we did get our flights for only 54 dollars round trip...AND we eat for free at the resort with the Free Disney Dining plan! I CAN'T AFFORD TO STAY HOME!!!....Sorry Dave...don't look at me in that tone of voice!

Wow! What an excellent Christmas with family and friends. I must say I did get the ultimate Re-Gift this year!...WAIT....it's even worse than a Re-Gift....it's from an ESTATE SALE!....So it's RE-GIFTed from a DEAD GUY!
(It was from someone that wasn't family.....and if the person WAS family...he wouldn't be after that!)
But....Besides that....we had 2 great days with meaningful gifts, great food, and cherished time with those we love.

I resolve for the New Year to write in my journal more often. I really appreciate all of you- and I just kept forgetting to post here. So...Til next time-

I am so sorry! It has been FOREVER since I posted on here. Things have been rolling along and..... honestly, I haven't had too much to report.(Good or bad)
2009 is shaping up quite nicely with somg gigs-INCLUDING opening for my hero TIM HAWKINS in Flint on May 2!
That will be a dream come true!

I will be posting more frequently now that I found my password and saved it on my laptop!

Hi everyone,
Today I'm writing to you from my hotel room in West Branch Michigan.
Lately we have been in L.A,Chicago,Orlando etc..... So it was quite a shock to my system when we spent the day in this quiet "UP NORTH" town.

Having said that, there was one place that wasn't quiet last night....
THE WEST BRANCH ASSEMBLY OF GOD! What a rockin show! They had a praise band called SWEPT UP MUSIC that kicked off the night and got the energy flowing and that set the stage for a great night.

Honestly, most comics get very nervous when we do teen events. You never really know how it's going to go. Well, Pastor Tim and his crew did everything perfectly to ensure a great event. The teens at WBA are a great group of kids and they are a real class act. The laughter was loud and we all had a great time. They blessed us back with a standing ovation and I'm not sure who had more fun...them or US!

So, now that I can travel with my new laptop, I should be able to keep in touch a bit better. Thanks for coming along with us on our crazy comedy journey.

Hi Everyone,
Well....it's been a crazy couple of weeks.

We were in California for the Christian Comedy Association conference.

Totally cool....as always!
(One of the coolest things was that little Mikey and I got to perform for Tim Hawkins, Thor Ramsey and some of our other "heros".)

All of this was happening while my wife was training for her new God Given job in the great state of New York. (Um...the training was there....not the JOB!) She passed with flying colors .....95%!
(The only thing I've ever gotten that was 95% was BODY FAT!)

So then, after a few very cool phone calls, we were lucky enough to be able to travel to New York and meet Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson from Sci Fi Tv's GHOST HUNTERS.

These guys are so cool!

Grant took some time to talk with my son about music. (Grant is a great pianist.....one of his songs plays on my MySpace profile if you want to hear it!)

I've met several "celebrities" in my travels, but Grant has to rank right up there as one of the nicest,coolest, guys I've ever met.

Then we got back home and packed our bags for a show in Peru ,Illinois.

It's a very cool town not too far from Chicago.

We had a great show with Pastor Chris' group and raised a bunch of money for The Lighted Way childrens charity.

Hmmmmm.......I guess I'm feeling SMUG right now. Kind of like when you curl up by the fireplace with a good book.

I was recently asked a question about my "MISSION" as a christian comedian.

I thought I'd post my answer here on LIve Journal because I think my answer was God Inspired. So...Here is the answer to the interviewers question.:

I think my mission is to show people that christians can be fun! When people get to know you ,and you break down the walls around them with comedy, you can then share WHY you are filled with this joy that passes all understanding.

I have watched God work in my life OVER and Over again, and he has left NO Doubt in my mind that he is steering the ship. I don't want God as my Co-PILOT as some bumper stickers read. I want him DRIVING!

I had someone walk up to me recently (out of the blue at a store) and say..."You're a christian aren't you?"
Smiling, I replied "yes"-and he said..."I can see CHRIST in your eyes".

WOW...That kind of comment will WAKE you UP!
I hope that people in our audiences see that too.

We need to stand out as Gods kids. We can't mope around and whine....we need to ACT like Gods kids!

Hi There!

I am so sorry that I haven't updated my journal in like....FOREVER!

I'm weird like that....when things get crazy and I have nothing um...

GREAT to report,.......I kind of hide like a HERMIT!

I've always heard that if you don't have something good to say...

DON'T SAY ANYTHING!

Thus...the lack of journal entries.

Am I forgiven?...Ok...Now....Lets get rockin again!

Life is great! Once again God has pulled us through a mess!

HE has proven to me, once again, that he loves us and is in our corner.

Last month, Home Depot decided it would be a good idea to get rid of...

EVERY Human Resource manager, (all 2000 of Them), including my bride.

Needless to say....Um...PANIC MODE hit our little family!

Not that we live an extravagant lifestyle...but it would have changed...

QUITE a bit.

GOD stepped to the plate and knocked our problem out of the park
(As HE always seems to do.)

AND.....

Marjanna starts her BRAND SPANKIN NEW JOB on Monday.....

(Less than 1 week after her old job ended AND less than 3 weeks after she found out it would.)

In todays world and ECONOMY...Um...Thats a BIG Miracle!

(YAY! God is bigger than any problem...just like BOB the Tomato says!)

So.....Marjanna starts a REAL JOB with REAL HOURS and...

Gets about 15 hours a week back to herself.

So....A new adventure begins- and we will make HIM proud.

Besides that, my Dad is kicking butt with his new kidney repair..

and is back to the golf course next week.... and....

We are gearing up for some new shows out West and elsewhere and....

We're ready to...
